Carolyn Xu began her media career at Katz Media Group, a division of iHeartMedia in New York City. Since her days at KMG, she has amassed over a decade of experience in planning, buying and executing general market and political advertising campaigns in over 200 U.S. markets. In 2017, Carolyn co-founded Media Fortitude Partners, a female and minority owned and operated media buying agency that has accumulated over $100 million in total revenue. Carolyn personally led the media buying teams for New Jersey Department of Health’s campaign, ReachNJ, to tackle opioid addiction, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s re-election, and Civil Rights leader Congressman John Lewis’ “Get Out the Vote” initiative. Carolyn is a frequent panelist at Advertising Week New York.
