Notable

Stockton started working as a newspaper journalist at the Sarasota Herald-Tribune right out of college. She joined PublicSource in 2012 when it was a startup. Not only was it an opportunity to develop skills in investigative and data journalism, but also a chance to explore the nonprofit model of journalism. In May 2015, she was promoted to managing editor of the outfit, which continues to grow and innovate.
