At Penn State

Wilkins was very involved in the Bellisario College's sports media offerings during his time at Penn State. As a member of the John Curley Center for Sports Journalism, he co-created and hosted the "CommRadio Football Pregame Show." He also provided play-by-play and served as a reporter for Big Ten Student U/ As a student, Wilkins completed internships with WFAN, WCBS 880, YES Network, and WABC 7. In addition, Wilkins served as a facilitator for the Race Relations Project, which is now the World in Conversation Project.


Jacob is currently the lead broadcaster for the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, the New York Mets' Double-A affiliate. He also oversees all media relations efforts for the organization. Previously, Jacob anchored reports for WFAN, CBS Sports Radio, and Sirius XM Radio, along with broadcasting games for LIU Brooklyn. At FAN, Jacob has also filled in hosting the Yankees Postgame Show, along with contributing to the station’s Giants, Devils, and Nets coverage. In addition, Jacob has voiced highlights with and served as a sports anchor for 1010 WINS in New York City. Jacob began his career broadcasting games with the Hudson Valley Renegades, the Tampa Bay Rays' short-season minor league affiliate.
