At Penn State
Shea was involved in the Penn State Dance Marathon, serving as the Communications Captain in 2008. She played Penn State women's lacrosse from 2004-2008, as well as serving as a Penn State Student-Athlete Advisory Board member representing the lacrosse team from 2007-2008.
Throughout her career, Shea has been involved in the world of sports events and production, working with teams and companies such as Penn State, the NFL Network, Major League Baseball, Van Wagner Sports and Entertainment, CBS Sports and NBC Sports. During her time at Penn State, she worked as a marketing assistant for Penn State football, helping to create and implement successful marketing initiatives that have proven to be some of the most renowned game day traditions, including the annual whiteout game. After graduation, Shea worked for one year at Rutgers football in the redevelopment of its football gameday experience. In 2011, she moved to live remote broadcasts as a production coordinator for the NFL Network on "Thursday Night Football." Since then, she has been freelancing in the world of events and broadcasts, managing production and site operations for events such as the Super Bowl, World Series, NFL Draft, March Madness and "New Year's Rockin' Eve." She just finished her eighth season of "Thursday Night FootballLS as the operations manager.
