At Penn State
Wagner earned a B.A. in advertising from the College of Communications, graduating May 1989. While an undergrad, Wagner served an internship with GMAC Financial Services, which led to a long and distinguished career with the organization. Wagner is a very active and involved alum, serving on advisory boards (The Outreach Advisory Board; Athletics Fan Council), participating in career coaching and mentoring (LionLink; FastStart), guest lecturing (COMM 422 University Park; Abington Campus Alumni in Classroom) and supporting athletics (season ticket holder, football and hockey). He is a past candidate for Board of Trustees and Alumni Council and is also a life member of the Penn State Alumni Association.
Wagner was the first in his family to attend college while also working more than 25 hours per week during most of his time as an undergrad. He has used his College of Communications degree every day of his professional career, building a career with increasing leadership responsibilities and visibility. In his newly-created role with The Judge Group, he has global responsibility for leading the company’s marketing strategy, including brand building, lead generation, sales support, digital, communications, and customer experience efforts. In his prior role with ModSpace, he transformed a traditional B2B marketing team into one that was industry-leading, customer-centric, digital, visual, mobile and social … developing many industry “firsts” along the way that leverage technology to improve customer engagement and experiences.
