Katherine Ryan

Katherine Ryan is a first-year doctoral student in mass communication. She holds a bachelor of science in public relations and a master of arts in mass communication from the University of Florida. Her research interests lie at the intersection of strategic communication and media effects within the health context. Her current projects seek to understand how online health information affects health behavior change and perceptions.

Outside of work and study, Ryan enjoys practicing yoga, reading and spending time with her dog, Blossom.
