Call for Proposals: Scholar/Practitioner Collaborations

Page Center research director Holly Overton is leading the call. If you have questions, please contact Overton at hko104@psu.edu.

The Page Center is issuing a call for grant proposals to support scholar-practitioner collaborative projects aimed to empower professionals with research-driven insights. Proposals should focus on timely topics related to the Page Center’s mission of advancing ethics and responsibility in corporate communication and other forms of public communication. Of specific interest are proposal topics that seek to offer practical insights in alignment with The Page Principles for C-suite professionals across corporate, agency, non-profit or government sectors. Relevant topics may include, but certainly are not limited to, the following:

► Navigating ethical considerations related to generative AI tools

► Political, ethical, and moral perspectives and implications of digital analytics

► Engaging different stakeholder groups in CSA messaging

► CSR, ESG, CSV, or other related topics

► Engagement with specific audiences regarding sustainability communication (e.g., communities, activists, employees, influencers, consumers, media, etc.)

► Finding truth in an age of mis/disinformation

Research teams must include an organizational partner. Up to three proposals will be selected for funding up to $15,000 per project. Proposals should follow the Page Center’s guidelines for grant applications. However, projects in this category may opt to allocate a budget line item for a summer stipend.
