"New Media in India: From Fad to Fundamental?" A free public discussion featuring Sunera Sen Narayan of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication and Shalini Narayanan, an independent communications consultant. Narayan earned her master's degree at Penn State has has more than 25 years experience related to communications, advertising, journalism, documentary film producion and teaching. Narayanan was part of the Indian civil service for 23 years bfore beginning work as a consultant. The Institute for Information Policy is collaborating with the Center for Global Studies on the campus visit and related events.
