Free public sreening of "Bright Lights," the HBO documentary about the late Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds. Film editor Sheila Shirazi will participate in a post-screening question-and-answer session. Event sponsored by the Department of Film-Video and Media Studies.

As part of its Conversation Series, the John Curley Center for Sports Journalism and the chapter for the Association for Women in Sports Media at at Penn State present "#MoreThanMean: A Conversation About Harassment of Women in Sports Media." The session is free and open to the public. In April, a video titled #MoreThanMean called out the insulting and obscene harassment routinely heaped on two female Chicago sports reporters. That video has now been viewed more than 3.7 million times and started a national conversation. Now, the women who made the video -- Julie DiCaro and Sarah Spain -- are visiting Penn State.

A post-election panel featuring alumni panelists who have covered the presidential election, specifically Anna Orso of billypenn.com, Kevin Cirilli of Bloomberg News, Casey McDermott of New Hampshire Public Radio and Anna Orso of billypenn.com. The session will be moderated by Russ Eshleman, head of the Department of Journalism. The session is free and open to the public.

Brian Allen, founder of Flyland Designs, will share his experience running his now six-year-old State College illustration business. He will discuss launching, growing and maintaining a freelance design business and show his illustrations for clothing manufacturers, rock bands, children's book publishers, motorcycle and racing decals, gyms and fitness professionals, book covers, skateboards and more.
