Biography

Eunchae Jang is a fourth-year Ph.D. candidate.

Her research interests focus on the psychological effects of human interactions with communication technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), virtual reality (VR), and social media. Her work aims to address issues related to ethics and trust when users interact with these technologies and to propose interventions to mitigate such challenges. She employs a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods, including computational approaches.

Her current research pertains to understanding the persuasive effects of technological affordances, users' cognitive information processing, and susceptibility to misinformation.
