Biography

Jack Hirsh is a 2020 graduate of Penn State, earning degrees in broadcast journalism and political science. While in State College, he did his best to become proficient in as many mediums as he could, first by writing at The Daily Collegian. He eventually started the paper’s first video staff and became an executive producer for the award-winning "Centre County Report." He is now an assistant editor for GOLF Magazine/GOLF.com where he writes and photographs everything from PGA Tour coverage to his own tribulations on the course. Before joining GOLF, Hirsh spent two years working at a TV station in Bend, Oregon, primarily as a multimedia journalist/reporter, but also producing, anchoring and even presenting the weather. He was captain of his high school golf team and recently became the program’s head coach while still *trying* to remain competitive in local amateurs.
