Major: Public Relations
Year: Junior
About: As an aspiring public relations professional, I have devoted much of my time at Penn State to various internships, clubs and activities. The College of Communications has helped me land internships at Penn State’s Career Services and a boutique PR firm in Philadelphia. I also gained experience last year through my work with Happy Valley Communications, Penn State’s student-run PR firm. Lastly, I am an active member of Valley Magazine and the business fraternity, Phi Chi Theta. Each experience has presented me with new challenges that have improved my writing skills and have given me “hands-on” experience in campaign planning and executing, as well as event planning.
