Marea Mannion

Marea Mannion has 25 years of professional experience in television news and public relations in major markets across the nation, including network affiliates in South Florida, Cincinnati, Louisville, Chicago and Los Angeles. She has served as a television news and sports anchor, reporter, videographer, producer, managing editor and the publicity/promotions manager for the Chicago Cubs. She also shot and produced all Cubs television specials on WGN Chicago.

Her research focuses on law enforcement and the media. She has conducted media training for command level law enforcement across the Northeast through Penn State's Justice and Safety Institute, and at the FBI National Academy at Quantico, Va. For 26 years at Penn State, she has been teaching broadcast journalism, studio and field production. She is also a freelance television reporter and videographer.
