With over 30 years of professional advertising experience, Mark Birschbach brings both theory and real world practice to the classroom. A member of the Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications faculty since 2018, Birschbach currently teaches Intro to advertising, creative strategies and campaigns. In addition, he offers an independent study course for advertising students who wish to develop their copywriting portfolio. On the extracurricular side, Birschbach serves as faculty adviser for the Ad/PR Club. His master’s degree in advertising is from Northwestern University.
