Free public lecture featuring S. Revi Sterling, the deputy chief of party for the Global Broadband and Innovations Alliance, an agreement between NetHope and USAID. Her research focuses on ICTD in women’s empowerment. Previously, she founded the ICTD graduate program at the University of Colorado Boulder. Free Screening: "Felix and Meira"

Free public screening of "Felix and Meira," Canada's 2015 Academy Award submission, presented by the Jewish Studies Program, Hillel Penn State, The Hadassah Foundation and the College of Communications. The evening begins with a screening of the short film "Where Is Joel Baum" by Pearl Gluck, an assistant professor in the Department of Film-Video and Media Studies. A reception will follow and then the screening of "Felix and Meira," including a question-and-answer session with actor Luzer Twersky, who stars in the film, will be featured.
