A free public lecture titled "From Ferguson to Africa: Dispensing with Race; Reclaiming Black Power" by Salim Faraji, associate professor of Africana Studies at California State University-Dominguez Hills, highlights African-American Heritage Month activities in the College of Communications. The session is coordinated by the Office of Multicultural Affairs and the African, Hispanic, Asian and Native American (AHANA) student club.
