Harmelin Media Challenge Info Session

Time: 4:30pm - 5:30pm

Location: Innovation Lab / 10 Willard Building (Bellisario Media Center)

The 2025 Harmelin Challenge will give student teams real-life experience in media planning and client strategy -- plus exposure to senior leaders of one of the largest media-planning agencies on the East Coast. Student teams will: assess client needs; analyze proprietary research data; develop recommendations for targeting audiences to achieve client goals; develop a media plan to reach those audiences; and pitch their plan to a panel of judges (including client and media-planning agency representatives). Cash prizes totaling $7,500 available!

The session is part of the ongoing Comm Career Conversations series presented by the Office of Internships and Career Services.

As a highlight of the annual "Global Black Communities and Mental Health" series, Kevin Richardson, a wrongfully convicted and since exonerated member of the Central Park Five will be the guest speaker. The series, established by the College of the Liberal Arts and the Africa Studies program, was created in memory of former Penn State student Osaze Osagie.
